Job summary

Echuca Regional Health in Echuca, VIC, is seeking a Clinical Nurse Educator to lead education programs for the Glanville Aged Care unit. The role reports to the Education team and focuses on mentoring residential aged care staff.

You will design and deliver comprehensive education, work with NUM to identify training needs, coach staff, and maintain clinical competencies. Part-time, permanent, 24 hours per fortnight.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration as Registered nurse
• Demonstrated experience in design and delivery of trainings
• Post Graduate Certificate in Gerontology or Palliative Care - Desirable

About the Role:

Applications are sought from suitably qualified Registered Nurse’s with a passion for mentoring and educating. This position will report and be part of the Education team at ERH but you will have a key focus on our Residential Aged Care

Key responsibilities include:

Designing and delivering comprehensive education programs

Collaborating with NUM to identify education and training needs and requirements

Facilitate coaching, mentoring and support for clinical nursing staff where appropriate

Actively participate in mandatory meetings as required and requested

Maintain core clinical competence specific to the area of clinical practice
