Job summary

Qualifications

• Current registration and practising certificate.
• Postgraduate mental health qualifications highly desirable.
• Credentialed Mental Health Nurse status with ACMHN and AMHP appointment welcomed or willingness to work towards them.
• Strong clinical expertise in mental health assessment, risk assessment, therapeutic interventions, referrals and applying the Mental Health Act 2016.
• Excellent communication, problem‑solving and organisational skills; commitment to culturally safe and inclusive care.
• Provide clinical leadership and champion best practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide high‑level mental health support and clinical leadership to people in crisis.
• Collaborate with guests, families, carers, peer workers and ED to ensure right support at the right time.
• Provide clinical oversight of the Crisis Support Space and manage risks.
