About the Role

North west Private Hospital is seeking talented Clinical nursing staff to join our Anaesthetics Unit.

As the Clinical Nurse, you will be responsible for providing expert clinical nursing care to patients and working collaboratively with a team of support clinicians to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

This role will involve, but is not limited to:

  • Acting as a professional resource and demonstrating broad knowledge in all facets of caring for patients to ensure the highest levels of nursing care.
  • Supervising and supporting staff within the unit.
  • Participating in Quality improvement Programs in line with organisational and departmental strategic plans.
About You

To succeed in this role, you will bring a strong clinical skillset in a hospital setting with experience in general medical nursing, exceptional communication skills, and a passion for delivering excellent client care and customer service.

You will also bring:

  • Relevant qualifications and Registration with AHPRA.
  • Minimum five years’ post graduate experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the speciality.
  • Previous experience as a clinical nurse – highly desirable.
  • Ability to manage a designated portfolio and display strong leadership skills.
  • Demonstrated excellent time management, clinical problem solving and organisational skills.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a health‑care team, and positively influence the performance of other staff.
Remuneration

On offer is a base hourly rate ranging from $54.72 - $58.82 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (QLD RN/Midwife Level 2– grade 2.1 – 2.4).
