Job summary

Darling Downs Health is seeking a Clinical Nurse - After Hours Coordinator to ensure safe, timely care after hours and to support staff across the hospital. You will provide leadership after hours, coordinate resources and respond to changing priorities to deliver positive outcomes for patients and the community.

You will coordinate patient flow, guide teams through clinical and emergency situations, and build cross‑department collaboration to meet service demands while identifying opportunities

  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse.
  • Strong clinical leadership and healthcare coordination experience.
  • Well-developed decision‑making, communication and resource management skills.
  • Commitment to quality improvement, safety and teamwork.

Clinical Nurse - After Hours Coordinator

As Clinical Nurse - After Hours Coordinator, you'll help keep services running smoothly, ensuring patients receive safe, timely care while supporting staff across the hospital. You'll provide leadership after hours, coordinate resources and respond to changing priorities to deliver positive outcomes for patients and the community.

Every day, you'll contribute by:

  • Coordinating patient flow and staffing to support safe, efficient care delivery
  • Guiding teams through clinical, operational and emergency situations with confidence
  • Building collaboration across departments to meet service demands and achieve shared goals
  • Identifying opportunities to improve safety, quality and the patient experience
