Job summary

Stride in partnership with Wellways and Clarity Health Care has opened the Western NSW Medicare Mental Health Centre in Dubbo. We are seeking a coordinator to manage student placements (OT, psychology, social work), onboard and supervise field staff, and lead clinical education across the centre.

Strong communication, organisational skills and AHPRA-registered credentials are essential. The role supports the development of a learning environment, reflective practice, and collaboration with

Qualifications

• Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated experience in education and mentoring in healthcare settings.
• AHPRA registration as Psychologist, Nurse, Occupational Therapist or Social Worker.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate student placements (OT, Psychology, Social Work) for the service and maintain relationships with universities.
• Support onboarding, induction and field supervision of students; provide mentorship to clinicians where appropriate.
• Lead development and delivery of internal clinical education and training for Stride and partner staff.
• Coordinate and lead therapeutic group Community of Practice; participate in research/evaluation activities as appropriate.
• Work collaboratively to integrate the Medicare Mental Health Centre workforce development plan.
