Job summary

North Shore Private Hospital – St Leonards Park NSW is seeking an experienced Clinical Coordinator of Neurosurgery to lead the Theatre Department and support staff in delivering high-quality patient care in line with best practice.

The successful candidate will bring Neurosurgery nursing expertise, senior management experience, AHPRA registration, and proven skills in rostering, recruitment and resource planning. This is a permanent, full-time role within Ramsay Health Care.

Qualifications

• Registration with AHPRA and nursing qualifications required.
• Minimum five years’ post-graduate nursing experience.
• Experience as a senior nurse or manager in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities

An exciting opportunity has become available for a highly motivated and experienced clinician to join our management team at North Shore Private Hospital! This is a permanent, full-time position.

About the Role

As the Clinical Coordinator ofNeurosurgery in our Theatre Department, you will be responsible for working with and supporting other Nurse Unit Managers and Clinical staff in a hands‑on clinical capacity; achieving excellence in the delivery of patient care in line with best practice and legislative requirements.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will bring a strong Neurosurgery clinical skillset and recent management experience within a hospital setting.

You will have exceptional communication skills and a passion for delivering excellent client care and customer service.

You will also bring:

• Relevant qualifications and Registration with AHPRA
• Minimum five (5) years’ post graduate nursing experience
• Proven knowledge as a senior nurse or manager
• Management or relevant post-graduate specialty qualifications will be highly regarded.
• Experience or exposure to managing clinical staff including recruitment, rostering and performance management.
• Ability to effectively plan and manage financial, human and capital resources.
