The role emphasizes independent work across time zones, collaboration with AI researchers, and delivering scientifically rigorous content for ongoing projects.

Qualifications

• Hold a Master’s or PhD in environmental fields such as Environmental Science, Climate Science or Ecology.
• Experience coding in Python or R for research/data analysis.
• Deep expertise in climate modeling, ecology, sustainability, or environmental systems.
• Excellent written communication with strong attention to detail.
• Self-directed and comfortable working independently in asynchronous settings.
• Fluent in English; eligible to work from Australia or related regions.

Who You Are

• Hold a Master’s or PhD in Environmental Science, Climate Science, Ecology, or a closely related field
• Experienced coding in Python or R — whether for research, modeling, or data analysis
• Deep subject matter expertise in climate modeling, ecology, sustainability, or environmental systems
• Exceptionally clear written communicator with a sharp eye for scientific accuracy and detail
• Self-directed and comfortable working independently in an asynchronous environment
• Fluent in English and based in the U.S., Canada, U.K., Australia, or New Zealand

Nice to Have

• Prior experience with data annotation, data quality assessment, or AI evaluation workflows
• Background in environmental policy, geospatial analysis, or computational modeling
• Familiarity with AI tools or large language model evaluation as an end user
