cohealth is seeking a Client Services Officer in Melbourne to provide front-line reception and administrative support at the Parkville Youth Justice Primary Care Centre. You will greet clients, manage registrations, schedule appointments, and support clinicians and staff with information flow.

About the role

The role of the Client Services Officer (CSO) is to provide various administrative and clerical functions for The Parkville Youth Justice Primary Care Centre. The Client Services Officer (CSO) is the first point of contact for most young people who access support and as such must reflect the Department of Justice and Community Safety and cohealth values.

Responding, administering, and working as a team are essential to maintaining high standards of customer service. The CSO's duties include client reception, registration, scheduling appointments, data entry, and other tasks as directed.

Your duties include:

• Promptly respond to enquiries from young people, Parkville staff and cohealth staff whether face to face or by telephone in a professional and courteous manner
• Receive and account for all young people who present to the precinct, ensuring that they have completed the required documentation
• Providing information to and from referring clinicians in line with cohealth and Parkville Youth Justice Precinct Policies and Procedures
• Assist in the organisation and maintenance of couriers, supplies, laboratory work and waste removal

Our ideal candidate:

• Experienced medical receptionist or demonstrated experience within general practice/community health service / (or similar) setting
• Basic understanding of accounting systems and procedures
• Skilled in computer software such as Microsoft Office and patient / client management systems
• Customer service experience with a passion for assisting clients such as people with disabilities and people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, throughout their journey
• Strong belief and personal alignment in cohealth Values and Mission
