Job summary

Hearing Australia Batemans Bay is seeking a Client Service Specialist to support and empower clients of all backgrounds. You’ll greet clients, handle counter and phone inquiries, and provide admin support from booking to claims processing.

Join a national government-funded hearing care provider and gain hands-on experience, including minor repairs and clinician assistance. Training is provided during an initial two-week period.

Qualifications

• Experience as a proactive problem solver with ownership.
• Intermediate/advanced computer literacy and mobile app knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients and handle counter and phone inquiries.
• Cover reception and perform admin duties: bookings, claims, data entry, reports.
• Liaise with clients including children and adults, including those with complex needs and multicultural backgrounds.
• Perform minor hearing aid repairs and troubleshooting.
• Assist Clinicians by identifying client needs and demonstrating hearing aid use.

Job Location: Batemans Bay, Nowra. Posting Start Date: 02/09/2026.

• Help provide the latest best practice services for anyone who needs it
• Gain skills with Australia’s largest provider of government-funded hearing care
• Casual position
• Working at Batemans Bay hearing centre, with support to Nowra on occasion
• This role will include an initial two-week full-time training period (Mon-Fri, 8:30am-5:30pm), to support the completion of mandatory training and onboarding requirements.

As a Client Service Specialist, you’ll support and empower clients of all backgrounds. Working side by side with people who go the extra mile, you’ll also love the feeling of helping children and adults who need us. Here’s how you’ll do it:

• You’ll greet clients, attend to all counter and telephone enquiries
• You’ll cover reception and undertake general administration duties includes booking client appointments, processing claims, data entry and monthly reports
• You’ll liaise extensively with our clients comprising of children and adults, some with complex needs, as well as clients with multicultural & Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander backgrounds
• You’ll perform minor hearing aid repairs and troubleshooting
• You’ll assist Clinicians with the provision of clinical services by proactively identifying client needs, offering professional advice and demonstrating the use of hearing aids

What you’ll bring
