Job summary

Catholic Healthcare is seeking a part-time/casual cleaner for Brigidine House in Randwick, NSW. The role involves cleaning residents' rooms and common areas to a high standard within a not-for-profit aged care setting.

You will work with a team, maintain safety and adhere to all policies, with opportunities for shifts across multiple locations in NSW. A Police Check and NDIS clearance are required or encouraged for applicants.

Qualifications

• Warm and empathetic interpersonal skills with experience interacting with a wide range of people.
• Ability to read, write and communicate effectively.
• Previous experience working as a cleaner ideally.
• Commitment to safety and following policies and procedures.

As a member of the Cleaning team at Brigidine House, you will be providing high quality cleaning services for our residents within our residential aged care home, ensuring residents rooms and common areas are clean and presentable.

• Working in a safe manner to protect yourself, your colleagues and residents, closely following all policies and procedures

To be successful in this role you’ll need

• A kind heart and genuine passion for providing high quality care to the elderly
• Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
• Previous experience working as a cleaner ideally
• Warm and empathetic interpersonal skills with experience interacting with a wide range of people
• Ability to establish and maintain professional and appropriate relationships with residents and their families
• A reliable team player
• Ability to read, write and communicate effectively
• Willingness to apply for a Police Check and NDIS clearance
