Job summary

Catholic Healthcare Limited is seeking casual cleaners at Holy Spirit Dubbo to ensure rooms and common areas are clean and presentable for residents. You will be part of a team delivering high-quality cleaning services within a residential aged care setting.

Candidates should have a kind, empathetic disposition, strong communication, and reliability, with prior cleaning experience preferred. Police Check and NDIS clearance may be required, with a supportive not-for-profit employer offering tax

• Casual positions available - must be available Wednesday & Fridays
• Pay rate – $33.20 per hour + superannuation
• Not-for-profit employer, so pay less tax!

About the Role:

Work as part of a team to ensure a high standard of cleanliness and presentation in our residents rooms
Supporting your peers and maintaining a co operative team spirit
Working in a safe manner to protect yourself, your colleagues and residents, closely following all policies and procedures

To be successful in this role you’ll need:

• A kind heart and genuine passion for providing high quality care to the elderly
• Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
• Previous experience working as a cleaner ideally
• Warm and empathetic interpersonal skills with experience interacting with a wide range of people
• Ability to establish and maintain professional and appropriate relationships with residents and their families
• A reliable team player
• Ability to read, write and communicate effectively
• Willingness to apply for a Police Check and NDIS clearance
