Job summary

Compass Group Pty Limited is seeking a dedicated Cleaner Supervisor for the Brighton East aged care facility in Melbourne. The role involves leading cleaning teams, rostering staff, and ensuring high hygiene standards across daily and periodic tasks in a supportive, permanent full-time position.

• Experience in a cleaning supervisory role, ideally in healthcare.

• Experience with inventory control and waste reduction.
• Police check holder or willing to obtain one.

• Monday to Friday roles and Saturday-Sunday roles
• Brighton East residential aged care facility with 128 beds
• Permanent, full-time position. Pathways for learning & development

THE POSITION

• Lead and supervise cleaning teams across daily and periodic tasks
• Allocate staff duties and manage rosters to ensure service coverage
• Conduct regular inspections to maintain high hygiene standards
• Support infection control procedures and specialised cleaning in high-risk areas
• Train, mentor, and onboard new and existing staff

THE PERSON

• Previous experience in a cleaning supervisory role, ideally in healthcare
• Ability to lead, train, and motivate a diverse cleaning team
• Experience managing rosters and coordinating daily operations
• Competent in managing inventory and waste reduction practices
• Police check holder (or you are willing to obtain a police check)
