• Assist with school security procedures, including opening, closing and securing buildings.
• Communicate with school leadership regarding cleaning supplies, repairs and site needs.

About The Role

• Contribute to the efficient and effective operation and environment of the site by providing a high level of cleaning support.


• Ensure that the duties prescribed for the position are completed to an acceptable standard as determined by their supervisor, in accordance with the approved school cleaning program.


• Casual cleaning position/s offering on call, short term and long term roles. Split shifts - mornings and afternoons, flexible position/s.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a high standard of cleanliness across school facilities, including classrooms, offices, amenities and outdoor areas.


• Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sanitising, vacuuming, sweeping, dusting, waste removal and floor maintenance.


• Maintain cleaning equipment and report maintenance, safety or security issues.


• Assist with school security procedures, including opening, closing and securing buildings.


• Liaise with the Principal/Business Manager regarding cleaning supplies, repairs and site requirements.


• Provide professional support and direct visitors to appropriate school personnel when required.
