Job summary

Join Whitsunday Coast Airport as a Cleaner / General Duties employee, helping maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment for passengers, visitors and staff. This hands-on role covers cleaning across the terminal and facilities and supports front-of-house tasks like passenger movements and parking assistance.

With a 4-on/4-off roster and a day shift from 7:00am to 4:00pm, you’ll be part of a busy airport team, contributing to a positive travel experience while meeting high cleanliness

Qualifications

• A current C Class Driver’s Licence.
• Commercial cleaning experience.
• A level of fitness suitable for the role.
• Ability to obtain an Aviation Security Identification Card.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain high standards across the airport terminal and facilities.
• Support front-of-house activities including passenger movements and parking assistance.
• Contribute to a safe and welcoming environment for passengers, visitors and staff.
• Assist with daily airport operations to keep the terminal running smoothly.
• Work as part of the Airport team to deliver a positive travel experience.

This is more than just a cleaning role. Along with maintaining high standards of cleanliness across the airport terminal and facilities, you’ll support a range of front-of-house activities, including passenger movements and parking assistance. You’ll be part of the Airport team helping keep the terminal running smoothly and contributing to a positive experience for everyone travelling through the airport.

** Please note that this position requires availability to work weekends and public holidays as part of the roster.

What you’ll bring

To be successful in the role, you will have:

• A current C Class Driver’s Licence
