Job summary

City FM Australia is seeking a Cleaning Assistant for casual evening work. Shifts are Monday to Friday, 7pm–9pm, with a competitive hourly rate plus casual loading. Uniform and PPE are provided, and exclusive retailer discounts are available.

The role includes cleaning activity rooms, amenities and shared spaces, disinfecting high-touch surfaces, dusting, vacuuming, mopping and assisting with shift coverage at surrounding sites as needed. Valid working rights in Australia are required.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience is preferred but not essential.
• Must have a smartphone for work communications.
• Must have valid working rights in Australia.
• Driver's license and access to a car are preferred.
• Willing to obtain a Police Check or Working with Children Check.

Responsibilities

• Clean activity rooms, amenities, and shared spaces.
• Disinfect high-touch surfaces like handles and switches.
• Dust, vacuum, mop, and spot-clean doors and windows.
• Safely use chemicals, equipment and machinery.
• Be prepared to assist with shift coverage at nearby sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean activity rooms, amenities, and shared spaces.
• Disinfect high-touch surfaces like handles and switches.
• Dust, vacuum, mop, and spot-clean doors and windows.
• Safely use chemicals, equipment, and machinery.
• Perform physical tasks such as bending, lifting, and kneeling.
• Follow all OH&S policies and procedures.

• The successful candidate must be willing to assist with shift coverage at surrounding sites, such as Willowdale, Willowdale - Jamboree Ave, Horningsea Park & Narellan Vale.

What We're Looking For:

• A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Previous cleaning experience (preferred, not essential).
• A smartphone for work communication.
• Valid working rights in Australia.
• Driver's licence and own car (preferred)
• Willing to obtain a Police Check or Working with Children Check.
