Job summary

Millennium Services Group in Chatswood, NSW, is seeking reliable cleaners to join our team on casual shifts across weekdays and weekends. You will perform general commercial cleaning to a high standard and help create clean, safe, and welcoming environments.

Applicants should have a positive attitude, good attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Australian working rights are required.

Qualifications

• Commercial cleaning experience preferred but not essential.
• Excellent attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently or in a team.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Familiarity with Workplace Health and Safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general commercial cleaning to a high standard (day patrol, changing bins, checking toilets, answering to radio calls).
• Sweep, mop and vacuum floors.
• Clean amenities and toilets.
• Collect and dispose of rubbish.
• Spot clean furniture and fixtures.
• Clean internal and external glass as required.
• Dust and sanitise surfaces.
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures.

The Role:

Millennium is looking for reliable and motivated Cleaners to join our team at Chatswood, NSW.

We have casual opportunities available, with flexible shifts across weekdays and weekends.

Pay: As per the cleaning award rate of $33.85

What You'll Be Doing

• Carry out general commercial cleaning to a high standard (day patrol, changing bins, checking toilets, answering to radio calls, Etc.).
• Sweep, mop and vacuum floors.
• Clean amenities and toilets.
• Collect and dispose of rubbish.
• Spot clean furniture and fixtures.
• Clean internal and external glass as required.
• Dust and sanitise surfaces.
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures.

• Previous commercial cleaning experience (preferred but not essential).

• Understanding of Workplace Health and Safety practices.
• Flexibility to work weekends, public holidays and varying shifts when required.
• Experience operating floor cleaning equipment such as scrubbers, buffers or sweepers is highly regarded.
