Job summary

Menzies is seeking a Cleaner to maintain clean, safe and welcoming facilities across the townsite. You’ll follow cleaning schedules, work independently and uphold high presentation across Shire buildings and public spaces.

The role offers an hourly rate of $41–$44 (including 25% casual loading) with penalties for weekend work, depending on experience. Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential; reliability, attention to detail and a strong work ethic are valued.

What You’ll Be Doing:

As a Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and presentation across Shire buildings, facilities, and public spaces. Your duties will include completing scheduled cleaning tasks, maintaining cleaning equipment and supplies, ensuring hygiene and safety standards are met, and reporting any maintenance issues or hazards. You will work independently while following established cleaning schedules and procedures to help provide clean, safe, and welcoming facilities for staff and visitors.
