We are seeking a dedicated and reliable individual to join our housekeeping team at Mercy Place Wyndham. This role provides you with the opportunity to work between the two departments of cleaning and laundry providing you with the increased ability to have more working hours. In the cleaning role, you will play an important role maintaining a clean and tidy living environment for residents. as a laundry assistant, you will have the opportunity ensuring residents’ clothing is cleaned and cared for to the highest standards, supporting their comfort and dignity
You will play a crucial part in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene standards of our facility, ensuring the well‑being and comfort of elderly residents. General responsibilities include routine cleaning tasks such as mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing common areas, resident rooms, and restrooms.
You will also ensure the Aged Care home is cleaned and maintained in accordance with prescribed routines and infection control guidelines.
You will deliver high‑quality laundry services for residents' personal clothing, ensuring each garment is cared for accordingly.
You will contribute to residents' comfort, appearance and sense of dignity.
You are reliable, resilient, compassionate and have a whole lot of heart. Most importantly, you are committed to delivering exceptional person‑centred care.
