Job summary

The Cleveland Aquatic Centre, operated by Belgravia Leisure, is seeking a casual cleaner to join the internal cleaning team. You will clean in a safe, efficient manner and complete tasks within operational guidelines.

The role offers approximately 15 hours per week and includes cleaning the changerooms. Essential requirements include a current First Aid Certificate, CPR, Working with Children Check, and National Police Check.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work as part of a team in a busy aquatic facility.
• Ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing.
• Knowledge of safe cleaning practices and hygiene standards.

Responsibilities

• Clean centre areas in a safe and efficient manner within guidelines.
• Maintain changerooms as part of daily tasks.
• Be flexible to work additional hours during peak periods.

The Cleveland Aquatic Centre is looking to add a new member to our internal cleaning team.

The Role

We are seeking to hire a casual cleaner for our centre. You will be required to clean in a safe and efficient manner, ensuring your tasks are completed within operational guidelines. We have appx 15hrs per week, and the role includes the changerooms within the centre.

The following will also be a requirement of the successful incumbent:

• Comply with and follow all Occupational Health & Safety, Risk and Environment policies and procedures
• Perform other duties as directed by the Centre manger from time to time
• Ensure the cleaning is completed in a timely manner
• Be flexible to work additional hours due to the demand of peak periods the centre might face
• A knowledge of accepted cleaning practices
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Similar experience in a previous role

Essential
