Job summary

Good Counsel Primary School in Innisfail is seeking three Classroom Teachers for Years 1, 4 and 5 on a part-time fixed-term basis ending 15 January 2028 (Parental Leave Coverage). The roles require planning, preparation and delivery of engaging learning programs, and contributing to school initiatives and a supportive environment.

Salary is commensurate with experience, with a range from graduate to lead teacher levels, and a 12.75% superannuation contribution.

Qualifications

• Professional qualifications in Education
• Demonstrated ability in Learning and Teaching
• Demonstrated skills in interpersonal relationships
• High level of written and verbal communication skills
• Registered or eligible to register with Queensland College of Teachers
• Experience working with students with diverse learning needs
• Commitment to Duty of Care and Workplace Health and Safety
• Current driver’s licence
• Promote child safety at all times
