Job summary

UGL Pty Limited is seeking an experienced Civil Project Engineer to join the Perth team. The role involves developing detailed project plans, reviewing drawings, and overseeing on-site civil construction to ensure safety, quality and timely delivery.

You will liaise with clients and internal teams, manage subcontractors, and ensure compliance with Australian standards and UGL policies. The position requires DIDO to the Narrogin site on a 2:1 roster.

Qualifications

Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
Experience delivering civil engineering works in infrastructure, utilities or construction.
Strong understanding of civil design principles, Australian standards.
Commitment to health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement detailed project plans, work schedules and methodologies for civil works.
Review drawings, specifications, and contracts; provide engineering input for compliance with standards.
Oversee on-site civil construction activities ensuring safety, quality and subcontractor performance.
Promote and enforce UGL’s HSE policies across civil project activities.
Liase with clients and stakeholders to provide progress reports and documentation.
