Job summary

Wyn&Co is seeking a Civil Project Engineer to coordinate and deliver civil construction projects from Brisbane. You will support planning, scheduling and reporting while working closely with the Project Management team to own aspects of delivery and documentation.

The role requires a Civil Engineering degree, strong communication and planning skills, and practical site knowledge. A White Card and a valid driver's licence are expected, with ongoing training provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience in civil construction or infrastructure projects.
• Strong communication, planning and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of OHS, Quality and Environmental systems.

Responsibilities

• Support project managers with planning, coordination and delivery of civil construction projects.
• Assist with project scheduling, budgeting, cost tracking, forecasting and month-end reporting.
• Maintain project documentation, registers, diaries and contract records.
• Coordinate with site teams, subcontractors, suppliers and stakeholders.
• Contribute to safety, quality, environmental and compliance requirements.
• Provide project and administrative support with ongoing training.

About the Role:

Reporting to the Project Manager, you'll play a key part in the coordination, planning and scheduling of daily project activities across our civil construction projects. You'll bring your engineering experience to a supportive, hands-on team, working closely with the Project Management team and getting real ownership across project delivery, administration and reporting.

What You'll Be Doing

• Supporting Project Managers with the planning, coordination and delivery of civil construction projects
• Assisting with project scheduling, budgeting, cost tracking, forecasting and month-end reporting
• Maintaining project documentation, registers, day diaries and contract administration records
• Coordinating with site teams, subcontractors, suppliers and stakeholders to achieve project outcomes
• Preparing and processing variations, purchase orders, subcontractor agreements, invoices and progress claims
• Contributing to safety, quality, environmental and compliance requirements, keeping project documentation up to date
• Providing project and administrative support across the business, with ongoing training and professional development

Civil Project Engineer

What You'll Bring:

• Bachelor of Civil Engineering (or related discipline)
• Proven experience in a civil construction or infrastructure project environment
• Current Class C Driver's Licence
• General Construction Induction Card (White Card)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Solid planning, organising and problem-solving ability, with confidence reading and interpreting plans
• Working knowledge of OHS, Quality and Environmental systems
• Computer literacy, particularly Microsoft Excel and Project (experience with IFS software is a plus)
