Job summary

Sunshine Coast Civil is a civil contracting business seeking an Excavator Operator with Civil GPS experience to join our team delivering civil and infrastructure projects on site. The role focuses on operating GPS-equipped machines within a collaborative environment, ensuring quality and safety.

Requirements include 2+ years of GPS experience, a White Card, and a hands-on attitude. You will work with a multi-disciplined crew to hand over a quality product at pace.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Civil Excavator GPS experience.
• Construction induction safety certificate (White Card).
• Honest work ethic and positive attitude.
• Ability to work in a team and autonomously.

Responsibilities

• Operate civil GPS equipped excavators on site.
• Perform thorough pre-start checks and maintain gear.
• Collaborate with crew to deliver civil/infrastructure work.

Skills and experience

To be considered for this position you must possess the following skills and experience:

• Minimum 2 years of Civil Excavator GPS Experience (Trimble, Unicontrol or TopCon) or posi track civil experience
• Construction induction safety certificate (white card)
• Honest work ethic and a positive can-do attitude
• Maintain and care for plant and equipment and thorough pre-start checks
• Ability to work within a team environment and autonomously
