Job summary

My Australia Direct Pty Ltd is seeking a Civil Engineer for Kelko Construction in Sydney to provide technical and engineering support for civil infrastructure works, including concrete and pavement. The role involves planning, coordination and delivery, with emphasis on safety and quality.

The successful candidate will work closely with project managers, site engineers, supervisors, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure drawings, specifications and standards are met and programmes are delivered

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• Experience interpreting civil/structural drawings and specs.
• Knowledge of reinforced concrete, pavement and formwork is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Review and interpret civil/structural drawings and technical requirements.
• Develop methods and engineering solutions for civil construction activities.
• Coordinate activities with project managers, supervisors and subcontractors.
• Monitor site works to ensure compliance with drawings, standards and programmes.
• Assist with planning concrete pours, reinforcement and formwork.
• Provide technical guidance to ensure safety, quality and efficiency.
