Covey Associates Pty Ltd – Maroochydore QLD is seeking a meticulous Civil Draftsperson to prepare and review detailed civil drawings for diverse projects. You will work with engineers and project managers to ensure designs meet specifications and standards, with opportunities to contribute to transport and environmental initiatives.

The role emphasizes accuracy, collaboration, and ongoing documentation control within a dynamic civil engineering team based in Maroochydore.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Civil Draftsperson or similar role.
• Proficiency in CAD software, particularly AutoCAD / Civil 3D / Revit.
• Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and standards.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Relevant qualifications in drafting, civil engineering or a related field.
• Previous experience in transport projects, environmental projects, water and wastewater infrastructure, site preparation, geotechnical works, hydraulics will be highly regarded

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and detailed civil drawings using AutoCAD or similar software.
• Interpret technical specifications, survey data and engineering designs.
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers and other stakeholders to ensure designs meet project requirements.
• Review and revise drawings based on feedback or changes in project scope.
• Ensure compliance with relevant standards, codes and regulations.
• Maintain project documentation and drawing archives
