Job summary

Stantec is seeking an experienced Civil Designer to join the Springfield team in Queensland. You will work on land development, subdivisions, and road infrastructure projects, applying 12D software and navigating state and local government approvals.

We are seeking an experienced Civil Designer to join our growing team. This is a great opportunity to work on diverse, multi-disciplinary projects for councils, local government, Transport and Main Roads, and private developers.

The role

• Prepare conceptual and detailed designs using 12D, including:
• Land development and subdivisions
• Road infrastructure
• Stormwater drainage, sewer, and water systems
• Interpret and apply design requirements across State and Local Government standards
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (transport, planning, survey, traffic, electrical, landscaping)
• Engage with clients to understand project needs and contribute to successful outcomes

About you

• Proven experience as a Civil Designer across urban, land development, and subdivision projects
• Relevant qualifications in civil engineering/design
• Strong proficiency in 12D software
• Working knowledge of local authority and state approval processes
• A proactive mindset and commitment to continuous professional development
