Job summary

Northrop Consulting Engineers in Newcastle seeks a civil drafter with 1–2+ years’ experience to join an energetic team on urban renewal and municipal infrastructure projects. You’ll work alongside skilled drafters, designers and engineers, developing skills across earthworks, drainage and road design in a collaborative office environment.

Experience with AutoCAD is essential; Civil 3D or 12D knowledge is desirable with training offered on the job.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years’+ experience as a civil drafter; more experience welcome.
• Experience with AutoCAD; civil engineering experience desirable.
• Experience with Civil 3D or 12D Model is desirable; on-the-job training available.

Responsibilities

• Assist with civil drafting on urban renewal, development and municipal infrastructure projects.
• Collaborate with an experienced team on a range of technically challenging projects.
• Contribute to earthworks, stormwater, sewer, water, pavements and road design.
