Job summary

Strike 1 Recruitment seeks an experienced Certificate III in Civil Construction Trainer & Assessor to deliver and assess nationally recognised training in RII30920. You will provide engaging classroom, practical and workplace-based training while ensuring compliance with RTO standards and the relevant training package.

You will mentor apprentices, maintain records, and liaise with employers to support workplace learning. A current Police Check and Driver’s Licence are required.

Qualifications

• TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent.
• Civil Construction qualification or related field.
• Recent civil construction/roadworks earthworks experience.
• Solid knowledge of the RII Training Package.
• Strong competency-based training and assessment understanding.
• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Current National Police Check.
• Current Driver’s Licence.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and assess the RII30920 Certificate III in Civil Construction and related units.
• Facilitate classroom, practical and workplace-based training.
• Conduct competency-based assessments and provide feedback.
• Develop, review and maintain training resources.
• Mentor apprentices and trainees through their training journey.
• Maintain accurate student records and attendance documentation.
• Ensure compliance with RTO standards and training packages.
