Job summary

The City of Ballarat is seeking an experienced infrastructure professional to join Internal Construction Crews to deliver the Capital Works Program. You will apply your practical and strategic skills to identify infrastructure issues, assess site constraints and translate community needs into construction-ready projects in the field.

You will work collaboratively, travel to sites, and contribute to improving infrastructure outcomes for the community while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in operation of heavy machinery and experience in civil construction to work with Internal Construction Crews to deliver the Capital Works Program.
• Ability to identify infrastructure issues, assess site constraints and translate community and asset needs into construction-ready projects.
• Strong collaboration, strategic thinking and field presence to improve infrastructure outcomes for the community.
