Job summary

Atlas Golf Services P/L is seeking an experienced Building Associate to supervise civil construction activities across Queensland. This role covers site personnel, subcontractors, materials and equipment, with hands-on operation of construction plant as needed to keep projects on track.

You will interpret plans, manage earthworks and drainage, monitor quality and safety, and provide leadership on site. A salary between A$90,000 and A$110,000 is offered, with sponsorship possibilities for the

Qualifications

• 1+ year of demonstrated experience supervising civil construction activities.
• Experience operating a range of civil construction plant and machinery.
• Ability to interpret construction plans, drawings and levels.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily civil construction activities and site personnel.
• Allocate tasks and provide direction to employees and subcontractors.
• Coordinate labour, materials, plant and equipment required.
• Operate excavators, dozers, skid steers, dump trucks and other plant.
• Undertake earthworks, grading, trimming, excavation, drainage and site preparation works.
• Interpret construction plans, drawings, specifications and site levels.
• Monitor construction progress, quality and project timeframes.
• Conduct site inspections and identify construction issues or defects.
• Maintain daily site records and provide progress updates to management.
• Ensure work is completed in accordance with WHS, environmental and quality requirements.
• Assist with planning and sequencing of construction activities.
• Provide practical guidance and support to site personnel and plant operators.
• Participate in pre-starts, toolbox meetings and site meetings.
