Job summary
Minecon Recruitment Pty, in partnership with a leading civil contractor, is seeking reliable Civil Construction Labourers for long-term, ongoing projects in Caboolture. The role offers job security, above-award casual rates and generous overtime potential in a supportive team.
You will work on major civil infrastructure, with daily duties including pavement rehab, drainage works, and site setup. White Card and driver's licence are required; tickets for plant operation are highly regarded.
Qualifications
- Proven civil construction experience with roadwork/highway exposure (advantage).
- Current White Card (General Construction Induction).
- Current driver’s licence and reliable transport.
- Strong WHS commitment and team culture.
- Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screen.
- Police background check may be required.
- Plant oper. tickets or civil qualifications desirable.
Responsibilities
- Pavement rehabilitation, preparation, and construction.
- Subsoil drainage and pipe installation.
- Asphalting prep and support for electrical works.
- Site setup, including safety signage, fencing and traffic barriers.
- Spotting for heavy plant equipment and operating ticketed machinery.
