Job summary

Brisbane City Council is seeking a City Lighting Technical Support Officer to maintain our public lighting network and data assets, ensuring safe and well-lit spaces for Brisbane residents. You will work with internal teams and external partners to deliver lighting programs and resolve issues efficiently.

You will bring experience with lighting assets, strong data management skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders while managing competing priorities.

Qualifications

• Experience with lighting assets, data or similar infrastructure systems.
• Strong data management skills and ability to use SAP and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for Brisbane’s public lighting network and asset data.
• Manage and audit lighting data to ensure accuracy and compliance with Council standards.
• Support delivery of lighting maintenance programs and help resolve public lighting issues.
• Prepare technical reports and advice for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external providers to deliver lighting services.
