Chronic and Complex (CAC) Allied Health services focus on restoring, improving, or maintaining older people's independent functioning and wellbeing. The focus of these services is assisting older people to regain or maintain physical, functional and cognitive abilities which support them to either maintain or recover a level of independence, allowing them to remain living in the community. This position works as a member of a Chronic and Complex multidisciplinary team.
CAC Occupational Therapists are responsible for the provision of quality Occupational Therapy assessment and intervention for clients with complex, aged and chronic care issues residing within WSLHD to promote restoration and improvement in functional activity and safety within the home.
CAC Occupational Therapists are expected to work from different locations across WSLHD as reasonably required.
To be eligible for permanent appointment to a position in NSW Health, you must have an Australian citizenship or permanent Australian residency.
Qualification: Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy.
Registration: Current general Occupational Therapist registration with AHPRA.
