Job summary

Glencore's Collinsville Open Cut is seeking an Electrical tradesperson to operate and optimise the CHPP fixed plant. Reporting to the CHPP Supervisor, you will monitor plant conditions, respond to breakdowns, and work with a team to sustain safe, efficient production.

Ideal candidates hold an electrical trade qualification with CHPP experience, strong safety discipline, and a proactive approach to plant housekeeping and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Electrical trade qualification with CHPP fixed plant operations experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular CHPP plant inspections to monitor operating conditions and maximise efficiency.
• Respond to plant breakdowns to support timely production restoration.
• Safely operate mobile equipment including loaders and ancillary gear.
• Operate train load-out systems per site procedures.
• Maintain product stockpiles to meet production needs.
• Maintain high housekeeping standards across CHPP.
• Contribute to operational improvement to enhance plant performance.
• Provide operational feedback to support CHPP planning and performance.
• Support the CHPP team to deliver safe, reliable production outcomes.
