Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking a skilled Chiller Technician to service commercial HVAC systems on-site in Sydney. You will perform maintenance, repairs and commissioning, ensuring safety and high-quality workmanship while supporting apprentices and team members.

A valid ARC licence, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning trade qualification, and a clear driving license are required, with willingness to travel daily to client sites. Competitive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with commercial HVAC chillers, AHUs and related systems.
• Trade qualification in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning is required.
• Current restricted Electrical Licence and a valid Driver's Licence.
• Construction Induction Card (White Card) present.
• Experience in maintenance and installations of AC systems.
• Strong time management and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team; safety-first approach.

Responsibilities

• Provide service, maintenance and repair on commercial Chillers and HVAC equipment.
• Carry out planned and unplanned service, commissioning and maintenance.
• Complete paperwork accurately and on time.
• Participate in after-hours standby duty roster.
• On-site training and supervision of apprentices when required.
• Travel to client sites daily with a valid driving licence.
