Job summary

Happy Feet Fitness is seeking an enthusiastic Independent Contractor to deliver our 30-minute movement program to babies, toddlers and preschoolers across Beerwah and Caloundra during school hours. You will visit early childhood centres weekly, bringing music, dance, magic, puppets and storytelling to inspire young children.

The role offers school-hours flexibility and the potential to grow to 15+ classes, with comprehensive training and ongoing mentoring from our Queensland State Manager.

Qualifications

• Experience with preschoolers is beneficial.
• Ability to engage babies, toddlers and preschoolers through movement and play.
• Comfort building relationships with early childhood centres.

Responsibilities

• Visit early childhood centres during school hours to deliver a 30-minute, high-energy movement program weekly.
• Foster confidence, coordination and a love of movement in young children.
• Build and manage your own Happy Feet Fitness business under licence, including scheduling and relationships with centres.

Happy Feet Fitness is looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and business-minded person to join our Queensland team, delivering fun, play-based movement classes to babies, toddlers and preschoolers across Beerwah and Caloundra.

An Existing Foundation to Build On

• 5 existing weekly classes in Beerwah on Thursday mornings
• New classes in Caloundra waiting for an Instructor
• Opportunities to earn additional income providing cover for other Instructors
• Support to grow towards 15+ classes per week

What You'll Do

You’ll visit early childhood centres during school hours and deliver our fun, high-energy 30-minute program to babies, toddlers and preschoolers on a weekly basis.

Our classes feature music, dance, magic, puppets, storytelling, imaginative adventures and movement games.

You’ll help little ones build confidence, coordination and a love of movement, all while creating a rewarding business around school hours.

You might take children on a dinosaur adventure in one class and explore outer space in the next!

Your Own Business, With Our Support

This is an independent contractor opportunity, not an employee position. You’ll operate your own Happy Feet Fitness business under licence, building your timetable and relationships with early childhood centres.

You’ll receive comprehensive training, proven class programs, ongoing mentoring and support from our experienced Queensland State Manager.

Earning potential: Approximately $75 per 30-minute class after licensing fees. Your income will depend on the number of classes you establish and deliver.

You Could Be a Great Fit If You...

• Have a current Queensland Blue Card (essential)
• Love working with babies, toddlers and preschoolers
• Are confident, engaging, reliable and professional
• Enjoy performing, teaching, presenting or entertaining
• Are proactive and comfortable building relationships with centres
• Want to develop and manage your own small business
• Have a reliable vehicle and driver's licence
• Have an ABN, or are prepared to obtain one, and understand the responsibilities of self-employment

Experience in dance, music, education, childcare, fitness or performing arts is welcome, but your personality and ability to connect with young children matter just as much!

• Availability: At least 4 weekdays during school hours
