Job summary

Camp Australia is recruiting for a dedicated educator to design engaging, safe programs for Parkhurst’s primary-aged children. You will lead a passionate team, plan daily activities, and prepare healthy snacks in a welcoming space that supports children’s growth.

We value child safety, inclusive environments, and ongoing development. Availability is 6:30 am–8:30 am and 2:00 pm–6:00 pm, Monday to Friday, with opportunities for career growth and support through training.

Qualifications

• Enthusiastic, engaging approach to childcare with strong relationship-building skills.
• Completed or 50% working towards a childcare-related Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Blue Card (or willingness to obtain).
• Valid First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma certificates (or willingness to obtain).
• National Child Safety Training (or willingness to obtain).
• Availability from 6:30 am - 8:30 am and 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday.
• Valid Child Protection training Certificate and Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (or willingness to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Plan exciting daily activities for primary-aged children.
• Prepare and serve healthy snacks.
• Build meaningful relationships with children, families, and the local school community.
