Job summary

Kindred Kids Pty Ltd is seeking a kitchen team member to help prepare fresh, nutritious meals and snacks for children, while upholding food safety and cleanliness. You will deliver food within our Sunshine Coast service following internal processes.

The role offers supportive training, mentoring and opportunities for professional development in a childcare environment.

Qualifications

• Blue Card current and valid.
• Collaborative team player who can follow instructions.
• Maintains a clean, organised and safe kitchen environment.
• Reliable, proactive and eager to learn.
• Understands food safety and hygiene practices.
• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
• Values kindness, inclusion and teamwork.
• Experience in childcare, school, aged care or commercial kitchen is highly regarded.
• Knowledge of allergy management and dietary requirements is highly regarded.

Working as part of our kitchen team, you will assist to provide fresh, nutritious meals and snacks for children each day while maintaining the highest standards of food safety, cleanliness and care. You will be required to deliver food prepared in our commercial kitchen to our other service, on the Sunshine Coast, following internal processes.

This role offers the opportunity to work in a supportive environment where training, mentoring and professional development are provided.
