Job summary

Inspire Early Learning Journey – Pakenham VIC is seeking experienced Early Childhood Educators with Montessori experience to join our team at our Pakenham Campus. We offer premium early childhood educational programs in quality facilities for children aged 6 months to 6 years, with a focus on Montessori-inspired play-based learning.

Qualifications

• Experience as an Early Childhood Educator (1–2 years preferred).
• Available for 5 days per week.
• Knowledge of EYLF and NQS.
• Current Working with Children check, First-Aid Certificate, emergency asthma management and anaphylaxis training.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Passion and commitment to high-quality care.
• Ability to collaborate and adapt across rooms and responsibilities.

Job Description:

• Creating and maintaining an inclusive, fun, safe, healthy, productive and effective learning environment
• Developing and maintaining positive relationships with children, families, colleagues, and the broader community.
• Ensuring all health, safety and centre policies are adhered to along with licensing, legislation & regulations.
• Contributing to the effective operation of the workplace by supporting colleagues, sharing ideas and information and working collaboratively in our team.

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Preferably at least 1 - 2 years' experience as an Early Childhood Educator
• Available for 5 days per week
• Knowledge and understanding of Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS).
• Current Working with Children check, First-Aid Certificate, emergency Asthma management and Anaphylaxis training.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Demonstrated ability to co-operatively contribute to and support a team environment and to work flexibly, both within rooms and according to the needs of the Centre.
• A thorough knowledge of children’s development and ability to observe, plan, implement and evaluate developmentally appropriate children’s programs.
