Job summary

Community Staffing Australia is seeking a Child, Youth & Family Support Worker for casual/temporary work in Vermont, VIC. Start date is immediate, with on-call shifts 6 am–8 pm on weekdays and three days per week.

Roles include residential care, home-based care, disability support, and family contact across various OoHC settings. Successful candidates will have a Cert IV in Community Services (or be studying) and hold essential checks including Police, WWCC, NDIS, and Driver Licence.

Qualifications

• Minimum Cert IV (or currently studying) in a related Community Services qualification.
• On-call availability between 6 am and 8 pm during weekdays.
• Available three days a week.

Responsibilities

Working with multiple Community Service Organisations, Community Staffing Australia provides a solid foundation of support in the communities we serve.

As a CSA Child, Youth and Family Support Worker, you will be engaged across multiple OoHC settings, including:

• Therapeutic (Youth) Residential Care
• Home-Based Care
• Disability (SIL)
• Supervised Family Contact
• Integrated Family Services
• Youth Transport
• Respite Support
• Emergency Contingency Support

Successful candidates will have:

• A minimum Cert IV (or currently studying) in a related relevant Community Services qualification, including the completion of the mandatory top-up training units (Community Staffing Australia offers limited paid top-up training for applicants who meet all other criteria)
• Availability on an on-call basis between 6 am and 8 pm during the weekdays.
• Available three days a week
• The ability to work regular business hours, afternoons, weekends, overnight stays, and public holidays.

Mandatory Requirements:

• National Police Check and Right to Work check (CSA-specific resource provided)
• Current Victorian Driver Licence (P2 minimum)
