Job summary

Explorers Early Learning is seeking a dedicated leader to drive quality, safety and compliance across our Armstrong Creek centre. You will mentor educators, foster exceptional learning environments and champion child-safe practices aligned with the NQF, EYLF and other standards.

You will coach teams with empathy, lead by example, and partner with senior leadership to build a high-performing, inclusive culture that supports families and the wider community.

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher in Early Childhood Education & Care.
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certificates.
• Working With Children Check (WWCC).
• Mandatory Reporting, Food Safety Training & Completion of the National Child Safety Training.
• Deep understanding of the NQF, Child Safe Standards, and EYLF.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and inspire educators through coaching, reflection and hands-on guidance.
• Lead with curiosity, coach with compassion, embedding practices beyond the checklist.
• Champion a child-safe culture where every child feels seen, heard and protected.
• Drive continuous improvement using the Quality Improvement Plan (QIP) and prepare the centre for Assessment & Rating.
• Build strong relationships with families and the local community.
• Partner with leadership to create a high-performing, inclusive team.
