Qualifications

  • Holding or currently studying towards a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care.
  • Valid First Aid, CPR, and Food Safety Certificates are required.

  • Current NT Driver's Licence is a must.

Someone who holds, or is currently studying towards, a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care. Equivalent qualifications may be considered.

Experience in the day-to-day operations of a crèche or a similar child care service, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

An individual with deep respect for Indigenous culture.

A skilled communicator who loves solving complex challenges.

Your Dream Role Includes:

As the Child Care Senior Officer, you will lead and support the Childcare team to deliver safe, high-quality childcare services for the West Arnhem Regional Council’s Warruwi community. You will manage the day-to-day operations and ensure compliance with Council and regulatory standards.

Developing and leading a culturally responsive early childhood program.

Managing all day-to-day operations of the crèche.

Working collaboratively with and supporting your team.

Building strong community partnerships.

Upholding compliance and quality in line with the Minister’s regulations, National Quality Standards, and the Early Years Learning and Development Framework.

Creating meaningful impact for your team, children, and the community.

Must-Haves:
