Permanent full-time, preschool position

Certificate III Qualified Educator

Surrounded by National Parklands, KU Heathcote Preschool is a fun loving, thriving hub and has 33 places catering for children from 3 to 5 years old. KU Heathcote has onsite parking and is only a short walk from Heathcote Train Station. The team is known for their focused, play based education approach and close ties with the local community and bushland. They are committed to supporting the Aboriginal community partnership with the Gujaga Foundation for the implementation of the Dharawal Language Program as an ongoing part of the curriculum of the service. The educators at the service, are in the implementation of sustainable practices and environmental awareness issues in Early Childhood Education and have an interest in Nature Play pedagogy and practices

This is a Permanent Full-time role - 38hrs / week

Of course, you will need:
  • Australian working rights
  • A current NSW Working with Children Check
  • An ACECQA recognised Certificate III
  • Completed Child Protection Training as well as demonstrated understanding of current child safe practices
  • Sound understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law (2010) and the Education and Care Services National Regulations (2011)
  • Working knowledge of the Early Years Learning Frameworks (EYLF)
