Job summary

Hunter New England Local Health District seeks a Chief Radiographer – Rural and Regional Health Services to lead imaging across rural NSW. Based at Tamworth Hospital, you will drive strategic direction, strengthen imaging services, and empower teams district-wide.

You'll influence service improvements, workforce planning, and patient care quality while collaborating with the HNEI leadership team and regional sites.

Qualifications

• Extensive clinical practice in an imaging department (excluding PDY/NPDP//Supervised Practitioner/Undergraduate).
• Current unrestricted NSW driver’s license and willingness to travel for work.
• Strong decision-making and data-driven service improvement experience.
• Experience in people management and operational leadership across multiple sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic direction for rural and regional imaging services across NSW Health District.
• Drive service improvements and workforce planning to ensure equitable imaging and patient care.
• Collaborate with executive leadership to implement district-wide initiatives and workforce development.
