Job summary

Queensland Government seeks a Senior Leader to serve as Director, People and Culture, guiding the Branch to foster a high-performing culture that values diversity, inclusion and wellbeing across State Library. You will lead strategic workforce initiatives and enable our people to achieve organisational objectives.

The role requires trusted strategic advice on complex matters, workforce planning and organisational change, while strengthening governance and inclusive leadership across the public

Qualifications

• Senior leadership experience in People & Culture, ideally in the public sector.
• Experience advising Executive Leadership on complex workforce matters such as industrial relations and change management.
• Proven ability to develop and implement enterprise-wide workforce strategies that support organisational goals.

Responsibilities

• Leading, managing and developing a high-performing People and Culture Branch with autonomy to set strategic priorities and allocate resources.
• Leading the development, implementation and evaluation of enterprise-wide workforce strategies to influence capability, culture and sustainability.
• Providing strategic advice to the Executive Leadership Team on complex workforce matters and organisational change.
