Job summary

You will guide an APAC and Group Internal Audit aligned plan, embed data analytics and AI-enabled risk assessment, and report outcomes to Boards and Audit Committees, while building strong relationships with senior management.

Qualifications

• Deep experience leading internal audit in financial services.
• Strong grasp of governance, risk management and controls.
• Experience using data analytics in audit and risk assessment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Australian Internal Audit team with clear priorities.
• Develop risk-based audit plans aligned to APAC and Group priorities.
• Embed data analytics and AI-enabled techniques in audits.
• Report audit results and risk themes to Boards and Committees.
• Oversee investigations of whistleblowing matters when needed.
• Collaborate with Group Internal Audit across regions.
