About the role

Clubs WA has an exciting opportunity for an experienced and dynamic Chief Executive Officer to lead the organisation into its next phase of growth and impact. This part‑time role (20‑30 hours a week) will oversee the operations of the organisation, ensuring it continues to effectively support and represent the interests of its member clubs across Western Australia.

What you'll be doing
  • Provide strong leadership and direction to the organisation, ensuring it delivers on its strategic objectives
  • Manage and oversee the day‑to‑day operations of Clubs WA, including financial management, HR, training and stakeholder engagement
  • Represent Clubs WA externally, building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders including government, industry bodies, and member clubs
  • Drive the development and implementation of policies, programs, and initiatives that support and benefit Clubs WA's member clubs
  • Ensure Clubs WA's compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements
  • Lead, motivate, and develop the Clubs WA team to enable them to effectively support the organisation's objectives
What we're looking for
  • Extensive experience in a senior leadership role, preferably within the not‑for‑profit or association environment
  • Proven track record of driving strategic change and delivering results in a complex stakeholder environment
  • Strong financial management and business acumen, with the ability to oversee budgets and ensure financial sustainability
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels
  • Demonstrated experience in leading and developing high‑performing teams
  • Familiarity with RTO operations or training programmes is an advantage
