Job summary

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid PRC License and Certificate of Registration.
• Member of the Integrated Chemists of the Philippines (ICP).
• Willing to work in a shifting schedule environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform NIR, wet chemistry, and mycotoxin analyses on raw materials, finished products, and special samples.
• Evaluate and prepare samples for laboratory testing.
• Accurately record and report test results.
• Monitor analysis trends and report deviations to the Laboratory Supervisor.
• Calibrate and perform routine checks of laboratory equipment.
• Prepare and monitor laboratory reagents and consumables.
• Maintain laboratory records and quality control documentation.
• Support audits by providing required laboratory records.
• Implement GLP and laboratory safety standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and compliance within the laboratory.
• Troubleshoot laboratory equipment and escalate issues as needed.
• Coordinate sample submissions to accredited third-party laboratories.

Job Overview

We are looking for a Licensed Chemist to join our Quality Assurance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting laboratory analyses, monitoring product quality, operating laboratory equipment, and ensuring compliance with laboratory procedures and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform NIR, wet chemistry, and mycotoxin analyses on raw materials, finished products, and special samples.

• Evaluate and prepare samples for laboratory testing.

• Accurately record and report test results.

• Monitor analysis trends and report deviations to the Laboratory Supervisor.

• Conduct calibration and routine checks of laboratory equipment.

• Prepare and monitor laboratory reagents and consumables.

• Maintain laboratory records, reports, and quality control documentation.

• Support internal and external audits by providing required laboratory records.

• Implement Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and laboratory safety standards.

• Maintain cleanliness, orderliness, and compliance within the laboratory.

• Perform basic troubleshooting of laboratory equipment and elevate concerns when necessary.

• Coordinate sample submissions to accredited third-party laboratories.

Qualifications

• Licensed Chemist

• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

• Experience in laboratory operations is an advantage.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).

• Able to work with minimal supervision.

• Detail-oriented, flexible, and capable of handling multiple tasks.

• Willing to work on shifting schedules, weekends, and holidays when required.

• Possesses strong integrity and good moral character.
