Job summary

ALH Hotels is seeking a Chef to join our kitchen team and help create memorable dining experiences in our pubs. You’ll be part of a dynamic kitchen, delivering high-quality dishes and maintaining ALH standards while focusing on safety and guest satisfaction.

You’ll bring hands-on cooking experience, pride in your craft, and strong organisation and communication skills to support our guests and team. This is a hands-on role with physical duties and opportunities to grow within the Endeavour Group.

Qualifications

• Must have fast-paced kitchen experience and hold trade cooking qualifications.
• Strong focus on precision, passion, and productivity in guest experiences.
• Good organisation and communication to deliver great outcomes.

We’re on the hunt for a passionate Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team. In this role, you’ll play a pivotal part in creating memorable dining experiences that excite and delight our guests. We’re looking for someone who’ll be the ‘chips to our gravy’. Sound good? Keep reading!

A Day In The Life Of a Chef

• Collaborate with the kitchen team to deliver high quality dishes that “WOW” our guests
• Contribute positively to our culture which is centred around safety and hygiene, keeping the guest experience at the heart of everything you do
• Maintain a consistent standard of high quality and well presented dishes that align with the ALH standard

What do we need from you

About You

• You have great experience working in a fast paced kitchen and hold necessary trade cooking qualifications
• You understand that the recipe for an exceptional guest experience contains the perfect mix of passion, precision and productivity
• Strong organisation and communication skills to create the best possible outcomes for our guests and the team
• You’ll be yourself and come as you are - ALH is known for its people

Inherent Requirements

• This is a hands-on role that involves manual handling and lifting as part of regular duties (e.g. moving stock, kegs, and deliveries). Applicants must have the ability to perform physical tasks safely and efficiently.
