Job summary

ALH Hotels’ Miami Tavern is seeking a passionate Chef to join the kitchen team. This hands-on role focuses on creating memorable dining experiences while maintaining ALH’s high standards of food quality and presentation.

You will bring fast-paced kitchen experience, trade cooking qualifications, and strong organisational and communication skills to deliver consistently excellent meals that delight guests and support a safe, hygienic work environment.

• Experience working in a fast-paced kitchen and valid trade cooking qualifications.
• Passion, precision and productivity to deliver guest experiences.

A Day In The Life Of a Chef

• Collaborate with the kitchen team to deliver high quality dishes that "WOW" our guests
• Contribute positively to our culture which is centred around safety and hygiene, keeping the guest experience at the heart of everything you do
• Maintain a consistent standard of high quality and well presented dishes that align with the ALH standard

What do we need from you

About You

• You have great experience working in a fast paced kitchen and hold necessary trade cooking qualifications
• You understand that the recipe for an exceptional guest experience contains the perfect mix of passion, precision and productivity
• Strong organisation and communication skills to create the best possible outcomes for our guests and the team
• You'll be yourself and come as you are - ALH is known for its people

Inherent Requirements

• This is a hands-on role that involves manual handling and lifting as part of regular duties (e.g. moving stock, kegs, and deliveries). Applicants must have the ability to perform physical tasks safely and efficiently.
